Lions, businesses, corporations and organisations can purchase Foundation Honour Awards for individuals or community groups to receive a personally inscribed and individually numbered award plaque, a certificate and a distinctive lapel pin.

Professor Frank Billson Platinum Honour Award
May be awarded in recognition of donations of $2,500.
Professor Frank Billson OA was the Foundation Professor Ophthalmology since 1979 and was a Director of the Save Sight Institute from 1985 till his retirement in 2009. As Director of the Save Sight Institute, Frank was responsible for the formation, fundraising & commissioning of the Save Sight Institute.
Professor Billson was also a Director of the Lions NSW Eye Bank, a member of staff at the Sydney Eye Hospital and both Children’s Hospitals in NSW.

Phil Bower Diamond Honour Award
May be awarded in recognition of donations of $1,500.
PDG Lion Phil Bower was elected as a Director of the Foundations in 2002 and was elected Chairman of the Foundation in 2010 until his untimely death in August 2022. He became a member of Lions in 1985. Phil also served at District level which included chairing several of the Lions Foundations, and Multiple District positions.
Phil received numerous awards including a Melvin Jones Fellowship award and the prestigious Lions Ambassador of Goodwill medal in honour of his leadership and support of the Lions Save Sight & Health Foundations.
Keith Small Gold Honour Award
May be awarded in recognition of donations of $1,000.
PDG Lion Keith Small was elected Director of the Foundation in 1979 and retired due to ill health in 1999. During his 20 years he served in a number of positions including Secretary or Treasurer or the Chairman of the Personality Quest Committee and Grant Secretary.
Keith also served on the Investigation Committee that led to the formation of the Lions NSW Eye Bank.

Neville Tucker Silver Honour Award
May be awarded in recognition of donations of $500.
Lion Neville Tucker OAM, joined the Lions Club of Brookvale in 1964, serving as the Executive of the Lions Multiple District Council as National Treasurer, a position that he held with great distinction for 23 years.
One of his greatest achievements was the idea to establish the Lions NSW-ACT Save Sight Foundation and this tireless work in forming the Foundation.

Harry Hession Bronze Honour Award
May be awarded in recognition of donations of $250.
PDG Lion Harry Hession joined the Lions Club of Kempsey in 1961. During his time as District Governor the Lions NSW-ACT Save Sight Foundation was formed. Being one of the original signatories to the formation documentation, Harry led the District into participation of the Foundation, which he served continuously as a Director until 1980.
